A pair of Höchst saucers with comical scenes, c.1770, attributed to Louis Victor Gerverot, one painted with two figures having a scuffle, the other with a woman standing behind a man having a sulk, a further Höchst saucer painted with a boy standing and pointing, the rim with insects and a caterpillar, a cup painted with peasant figures beside a fountain, and an early Höchst coffee cup painted with a chinoiserie figure before buildings, various wheel marks, 12.5cm max.
