A large Capodimonte (Carlo III) coffee cup, c.1747, painted by Giovanni Caselli in green monochrome with two courtly ladies attended by a figure holding a bolt of cloth beneath trees, beneath a gilt formal foliate border, the interior in a solid gold ground, with an angular gilt scroll handle, indistinct blue mark, a chip to the foot, 6.5cm high.
