Two Capodimonte (Carlo III) coffee cups, c.1750, one painted possibly by Giovanni Caselli in purple monochrome with buildings nestled among trees behind rocks, gilt line rim, the other in green and black with a chinoiserie figure wearing a tall pointed hat and seated reading a book, both cups with fine angular handles, blue fleur de lys marks, small rim nicks to the latter, 6.4cm max.
