A rare Longton Hall cup and a beaker, c.1755-58, each painted in the manner of the Castle Painter, the cup with a lady holding a fan and seated beside water with a ship and buildings beyond, the other with a woman stretched out on a grassy bank beside a poplar tree, the reverse with a tall flowering plant, some restoration to the beaker, 6.3cm max. (2)
