An unusual Longton Hall small mug or coffee can, c.1755-57, the cylindrical body painted in the salt-glaze stoneware manner with a colourful bird perched on rockwork beside flowering plants, the reverse with a bright butterfly, applied with a twig handle, a long rim crack, 6.4cm high.
