A massive Copeland Parian figure of 'Penelophon The Beggar Maid' c.1870, her arms crossed in front of her to preserve her modesty, inscribed 'W Brodie RSA Sc. Edin. 1867', impressed COPELAND, 68cm.
The marble version of this statue was exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in 1867.
