A massive Italian maiolica charger 19th century, the well painted with a crowned figure playing the harp with further revellers behind, the wide rim with four monochrome portraits reserved on a ground of maskheads, mythical beasts and foliate scrolls, one portrait unusually of a man in early 19th century dress, the reverse with the letters FE, GB and N in blue, 63cm.
