A large German porcelain ornithological charger 19th century, painted with a hoopoe and three other birds perched in leafy branches, the rim with scattered flower sprays, a grasshopper and other insects within a shaped pale green border, mark disguised under a leaf, 40cm.

Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.
