A Meissen saucer c.1732-35, painted in the Oriental manner with a bold spray of orange peony issuing from a banded hedge and holey rockwork, a small butterfly in flight beside, brown line rim, blue crossed swords mark, Dreher's mark to the inside footrim, 12cm.

The Dreher's mark of three circles arranged in a triangle is that of Gottfried Seydel, recorded at the factory from 1732.
