A large Cantagalli maiolica vase late 19th century, in the 16th century Deruta manner, enamelled with a portrait of a young maiden in Renaissance dress, before a titled scrolling banner, reserved on a stylized floral ground in blue and yellow lustre, the sides applied with unusual seahorse handles, cockerel mark to the base, 33cm.
