A large Italian maiolica tazza probably Faenza 16th/17th century, of long oval shape with scalloped and moulded rim, the well painted with a Cardinal armorial above a doorway between two turrets, the wide rim with leaf designs, raised on a low foot, broken and repaired with four rivets, 47cm across.
