An English enamel rectangular snuff box c.1752-55, probably Battersea, printed in reddish sepia with Britannia presenting a medal surrounded by figures personifying the Arts and Sciences, the underside with a lion and two putti amidst the trophies of war, the sides with further putti exhibiting the Arts, the interior with a profile bust of George II, some cracking, 8.2cm.
