A delftware Adam and Eve charger c.1750

A delftware Adam and Eve charger c.1750, probably Bristol, the first couple painted in blue either side of the Tree of Knowledge, around which twists the yellow and ochre banded serpent with a fruit plucked from sponged green foliage, some restoration, 33cm. Cf. Bonhams, London, 9th March 2005, lot 25 for an almost identical example.
