A Staffordshire group of a Savoyard and dancing bear c.1820-30, the travelling showman brightly attired in blue turban and yellow cloak over striped trousers, holding a stick in his right hand, the end of a rope in his left attached to the muzzle of a bear stood on its hind legs the other side of bocage, with a small monkey between them, wearing a red jacket, some restoration, 19.3cm.
