A Meissen two-handled tureen and cover 19th/20th century, painted with songbirds on flowering branches, and a matching square bowl with similar decoration, the osier-moulded rims painted with colourful moths and flying insects, blue crossed swords marks, a section of the bowl broken and restuck, 34.5cm across.
