Two Worcester printed mugs c.1757-65, one bell-shaped and printed with The Whitton Anglers, the reverse with La Diseuse d'Aventure after a Watteau painting of the same name, the smaller cylindrical mug printed with the King of Prussia and motifs of victory, signed RH in the print and with an anchor rebus, cracks to both, 12cm max. (2)

The print for the Whitton Anglers was taken from an engraving of A View of the Canal and of the Gothic Tower in the Garden of His Grace the Duke of Argyll at Whitton by William Wollett.
