A Battersea enamel sewing case, the rectangular chamfered form painted with panels containing courting couples, landscapes and flower sprays, on a white gilt jewelled ground, the interior containing various sewing implements including a thimble, pencil, scissors and tweezers, 18th century, some cracks and enamel losses, 7.4cm.
