English and European Ceramics and Glass

The sale includes a number of private collections covering a range of areas. The first part of a collection of fine 18th century glass from a London collector contains some rare shapes and highly desirable drinking glasses; the initial offering of some of the Nigel Morgan Collection of English porcelain includes fine examples from Chelsea, Bow and Derby, while a private collection from Northamptonshire has further good examples of both English and German porcelain figures. Other areas include English enamels from the Watney Collection, a private collection of printed delftware tiles, and the Rodney Bewes collection of theatrical and other ceramics.
