A rare delftware square bowl c.1770, of unusual lobed square shape with undulating rim, boldly painted in blue to both sides with a large scaly dragon among cloud scrolls, a section broken and riveted, 31cm.
Provenance: acquired from Sotheby's, 6th December 1983, lot 75, formerly in the collection of Louis L Lipski, no. 615.
