Three delftware plates c.1750, one painted in blue with a Chinese boy jumping to catch a bird, beside a lady and flowering prunus, the shaped rim with a trellis design, another painted with two Chinese figures either side of a hanging lantern, the last with a Chinese lady holding a large parasol beside a vase of flowers, the rim with three rockwork panels, some rim faults, 23cm max. Provenance: respectively acquired from Christie's, 5th April 1965, lot 78 (part), formerly in the collection of Sir Gilbert Mellor; and Sotheby's, 2nd March 1965, lot 106 (part), formerly in the collection of F H Garner.
