A large delftware flower brick c.1760
A large delftware flower brick c.1760, probably Liverpool, painted in blue with a small figure fishing in a landscape containing trees and bold rockwork, the landscape echoed to the shorter sides, the recessed top pierced with 26 small holes arranged in rows either side of a larger circular opening, some chipping, 17.3cm across.
Provenance: acquired from Christie's, 27th June 1965, lot 1 (part).
