A Meissen square saucer c.1735, with chamfered corners, painted on the diagonal with a panel of a lady and gentleman in conversation beneath a Classical statue, a child holding the lady's skirts, reserved on a gold ground, the underside rim glazed in turquoise, blue crossed swords mark, some gilt wear, 12.9cm.
