A Ludwigsburg figure of Truth c.1770, modelled by Johann Christian Wilhem Beyer, standing and holding an open book displaying a golden sun and the inscription 'Veritas', her modesty scarcely preserved by a corner of her robe which slips onto the pedestal behind her, crowned blue monogram and S mark, 24cm.
