A rare Worcester blue and white teabowl and saucer c.1765-70, painted with the Candle Fence Pavilion pattern, with tall willow above a storeyed pagoda, open crescent marks, 12.7cm. (2)
Most examples of this pattern have been clobbered with polychrome enamels, and survivals in the original palette are rare.
