A delftware dry drug jar 2nd half 18th century, painted in blue with two putti holding flower stems above a banner surmounted with a scallop shell motif, inscribed 'C:RORISMAR', broken and repaired, 18cm.

The inscription relates to the flowers of rosemary, which had a wide range of medicinal uses including as an astringent and a cure for headaches.
