A German stoneware Bellarmine (Bartmannskrug), possibly 16th century Cologne/Frechen, the squat body applied with a band of writing to the middle, between leaf motifs and portrait roundels, the neck and shoulder with a bearded mask, replacement handle, other small restorations, 17.8cm.
