A Spode inkstand, c.1815-25, decorated in an extended Imari palette in pattern 967, the shaped stand fitted with two pounce pots and covers and an inkwell and cover, the cover of the integral pen tray surmounted with a gilt putto finial, iron red factory mark and pattern number, a little gilt wear, 20.5cm across.
