A rare post-medieval redware jug, 16th century, the rounded body with a pulled spout, incised with concentric horizontal bands and decorated in a treacle glaze, and a small Tudor green jug, the buff earthenware body decorated to the rim and handle with a mossy green glaze, the redware jug with a 13cm rim crack, 22.5cm max. (2)

Cf. National Museum of Wales, No. 32.376/100, for a similar jug with a partial black glaze, excavated from Tintern Abbey.
