A Meissen figure of a Persian monarch, c.1740, modelled by J J Kändler and Peter Reinicke, wearing a jewelled turban and carrying a short tipstaff in his right hand, a small brown bear tucked behind his feet, blue crossed swords mark to the reverse, restoration to one elbow and one finger, 20cm.
