A rare Derby 'dry edge' figure of St Philip

A rare Derby 'dry edge' figure of St Philip, c.1753, probably modelled by Agostino Carlini, standing before an upturned basket of grapes and holding a large cross in his right hand, his left raised in blessing, barefoot and dressed in rags, with a long beard, the scrolled base picked out in puce, green and gilt, a small amount of restoration, the enamelling probably later, 25.8cm.
