An early Bow footed sauceboat, c.1748-52, of silver shape, painted in famille rose enamels with flowering peony sprays issuing from rockwork, the interior rim with a band of flowerhead panels reserved on a green trellis border, all raised on three paw feet, 18cm across.
Provenance: the Roger and Patricia Daniels Collection. Acquired in England during the late 1990s.
