British and Continental Ceramics & Glass

Our British & Continental Ceramics & Glass auction, to be held on Thursday 22^nd January, includes consignments from a number of collections. The auction opens with part 1 of a Collection of Privateer Glasses before moving on to the Tony Elliott glass collection with light and heavy baluster wine glass, The Lobbenberg Collection of early English ceramics, the highlight being a unique Lowestoft porcelain plate, the Ida Clarke Collection of delftware including a rare 17^th century Lambeth candlestick, delftware from the Cornish Collection and a collection of Sèvres porcelain.

Further highlights include a selection of early ointments pots, a rare delftware bin label, a range of Continental faience and maiolica and a section of Middle Eastern ceramics and glass including a 16^th Century Iznik tile and an 11^th or 12^th century Islamic glass bottle.
