A rare Meissen beaker with trembleuse saucer c.1730, painted in the Kakiemon palette with small birds in flight among Oriental flower sprays, the rim with a narrow floral band in iron red and gilt, the saucer with a tall pierced gallery with a shaped moulded design, blue crossed swords marks, a small filled chip to the beaker's rim, 12.5cm.
