A creamware jug of American interest c.1795

A creamware jug of American interest c.1795, printed to one side with the American eagle surrounded by fifteen interlocking rings bearing the names of the first 15 states to be admitted into the Union, the reverse with a hand-coloured print of a ship at sail, a little restoration, 18cm high.

The inclusion of Kentucky in the list of states, and the omission of Tennessee, dates the print on this jug to between June 1792 and June 1796.
