A pair of Chinese armorial octagonal plates Qianlong c.1750, decorated en grisaille with the arms of Montague quartering Monthermer impaling Richards with Richards in pretence, the shield with the motto Otium Cum Dignitate, within a gilt spearhead border, four floral sprays to the rim, 22.3cm. (2)
