A Meissen white-glazed figure of Bacchus c.1760, perhaps personifying Autumn, modelled by Kändler as a young man wearing a belt of grapevine, leaning against a tree trunk and raising a bunch of grapes to his mouth, a young satyr or faun sitting on a barrel behind him, traces of a blue mark to the base, some faults, 27cm.
