A Meissen chocolate pot and cover c.1735-40, painted with panels of merchants in harbour scenes reserved on a lilac ground with colourful sprays of indianische Blumen, the spout and handle with rococo moulding, the sprung cover with gilt metal mounts, iron red j to the inside cover and base, 14cm high.
