A rare Worcester teacup and saucer c.1770, of Warmstry fluted form, decorated in the Kakiemon palette with a version of the Jabberwocky pattern, the mythical beast coiled about flowering branches, within a turquoise border pencilled with a caillouté design, square seal marks, 13.5cm. (2)

Provenance: the Raymond Dennis Collection. Purchased from Albert Amor Ltd. on 23rd March 2001.
