A Mexborough (Yorkshire) Purple Face Toby jug early 19th century, a large spotted jug resting on his left knee and a hexagonal cup held in his right hand, a snake-coiled pipe leaning against his chest, his face enamelled a deep purple, the base and interior hat brim in a speckled Pratt palette, some restoration to the jug he holds, 25.5cm.
