A Pratt ware 'Convict' Toby jug c.1800, a foaming jug of ale on one knee, a clay pipe resting by his right leg, his coat painted with blue arrows, over a waistcoat with a brown floral pattern, the same floral motif mirrored to the back of the jug, some good restoration to his hat, 25cm.
