A pearlware 'Pan and Bacchus' jug c.1800
A pearlware 'Pan and Bacchus' jug c.1800, of Wood type, Bacchus seated on a barrel and supporting a cornucopia which forms the mouth of the jug, the spout modelled as a gaping dolphin of more prominence than the typical form, Pan standing atop the barrel to the reverse, holding his pipes and a goblet of wine, some restoration, 32.5cm.
