A rare Samuel Alcock two-handled vase and cover c.1828, painted with a shaped panel of flowers including rose, tulip, poppy and forget-me-not, reserved on a delicate ground of lilac-blue, the flat cover with a low circular knop, marked with pattern number 940 to the base, some good restoration to one handle, 26.5cm.
