A Limehouse blue and white pickle dish
A Limehouse blue and white pickle dish, c.1746-48, of scallop shell form, painted with a house behind tall rocks on a small island, with three Chinese tied motifs, the corners with small leaf motifs, the underside naturalistically moulded, 11.7cm.
