A Dutch goblet, c.1750, the thistle-shaped bowl engraved with a crown over a roundel enclosing hands clasping beneath the sun, flanked by flowers, inscribed to the reverse 'De Goede Vrindschap' (The good friendship), the base of the bowl faceted and enclosing tears, over a faceted baluster stem and domed folded foot, 21.4cm.
