Twelve Royal Worcester plates

Twelve Royal Worcester plates, printed in black with scenes of Salisbury landmarks and Stonehenge, the rims with gilt borders, impressed Royal Worcester mark and printed retailer's mark. Minor wear to the gilding, one plate cracked. 19th century, 20cm. (12) These plates were made as souvenirs for Watson & Co., a ceramics retailer who ran a shop in the Hall of John Halle in Salisbury (now the foyer of the Odeon Cinema).
