A Chelsea plate
A Chelsea plate, moulded with flowers and painted in the Kakiemon palette with two quail, and a similar dish painted with an exotic bird forming part of a leafy hoop, unmarked. Both cracked, the plate riveted. c.1760, 24.5cm. (2)
