An English opaque glass scent bottle, c.1760-70, the faceted form probably decorated in the London atelier of James Giles with a woman carrying a child or doll between brick plinths, the reverse with birds perched on flowering branches, the sides and shoulders with gilt foliate motifs, with internal glass stopper and a gilt screw cap, 7.4cm.
