A Minton vase and cover, 2nd half 19th century, painted in the Sèvres manner with colourful birds perched in leafy branches, the reverse with a panel of flowers, within moulded leaf and ribbon borders picked out in pink, green and gilt, ermine mark, beneath the base inscribed '3+1845 W', the cover broken and repaired, 33cm.
