A pair of Derby plates, c.1810-20, copying the Tournai service for the duc d'Orleans, painted with songbirds and small panels of insects reserved on a blue ground with gilt trellis work attributed to James Clark, and a pair of Derby soup plates after the Sudell Service at Sèvres, painted with birds within blue and gilt borders enclosing a crest and shield, the latter broken and restuck, 24.8cm max. (4)

Derby regularly produced additional and replacement pieces for Sèvres and other Continental porcelain services.
