A Chinese cylindrical brush pot, painted in blue with a figure carrying a goose or a duck to his master, the reverse with rocks and a waterfall, all between anhua bands. Rim chips and frits. Chongzhen 1628-44, 16cm. A similar example from the Shanghai museum was on view as part of the exhibition of 17th century Jindezhen at the Victoria and Albert Museum earlier this year.
